FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
MK: The main principle behind my design was to blend the vibrant color of cardinal red with the delicate beauty of magnolia flowers. Cardinal red symbolizes courage and energy, while magnolia flowers represent elegance and endurance. My inspiration came from creating a balance between these two elements to craft a piece that showcases both strength and grace.
FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
MK: My main focus was to harmonize bold and delicate elements in the design. I aimed to create a piece that not only captivates with its striking color but also offers a sense of timeless elegance. The goal was to achieve a balance that reflects both strength and grace.
FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
MK: I plan to showcase this award-winning design in upcoming exhibitions and potentially integrate it into my future collections. I am also considering collaborating with luxury retailers to bring this unique piece to a broader audience.
FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
MK: The design process for this concept took approximately three months. This included research, sketching, and refining the final design to ensure it met my vision and standards.
FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
MK: This design was inspired by the desire to combine vibrant colors with delicate floral elements. It was not commissioned; rather, I pursued this concept based on a personal vision and creative inspiration.
FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
MK: Currently, I plan to produce the design myself, ensuring that every piece meets my quality standards. I am exploring opportunities to collaborate with select companies, but for now, I am focused on in-house production.
FS: What made you design this particular type of work?
MK: I was motivated by the challenge of merging bold and delicate aesthetics. The aim was to create a piece that stands out while maintaining a sense of timeless beauty, reflecting both dynamic and refined elements.
FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
MK: While this design is a product of my own creative vision, I was influenced by historical jewelry pieces that blend contrasting elements. The work of various designers who excel in integrating bold and intricate details also provided inspiration.
FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
MK: The target customer for this design is someone who appreciates both bold, striking elements and delicate, timeless beauty. Typically, this includes collectors of fine jewelry, fashion-forward individuals, and those seeking a statement piece that combines elegance with uniqueness.
FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
MK: This design stands out due to its unique fusion of cardinal red with magnolia flower elements. The meticulous attention to detail and the harmonious balance between vibrant and delicate components create a distinctive piece that is both visually striking and elegantly refined.
FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
MK: The name was inspired by the blend of cardinal red and magnolia flowers, symbolizing courage and grace. It reflects the essence of the design, which combines boldness with elegance, capturing the spirit of both elements in a cohesive and meaningful way.
FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?

FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?

FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?

FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
MK: While the design was primarily inspired by artistic vision, I conducted market research to understand current trends and preferences. This helped ensure that the design resonates with the target audience and stands out in a competitive market.
FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
MK: One challenge was balancing the bold cardinal red with the delicate magnolia elements while maintaining the design's elegance. Ensuring that the final piece met both aesthetic expectations and practical considerations required meticulous planning and adjustments.
FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
MK: I decided to submit the design to an international competition to gain broader recognition and receive feedback from a global audience. It was an opportunity to showcase my work on a prestigious platform and connect with other professionals in the industry.
FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
MK: Through this process, I improved my skills in blending contrasting elements and refined my use of design technology. I also gained valuable insights into market trends and client preferences, enhancing my ability to create impactful and relevant designs.
