FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
DG: The main principle behind the design of Villa Estelle is to reflect the owner's taste, personality, and lifestyle while incorporating sustainable design principles, smart home technology, high-quality materials, customization options, and a stunning location. The inspiration for the design stems from a desire to create an effortlessly luxurious living experience and to find beauty in the details.

FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
DG: The main focus in designing Villa Estelle was to create a bespoke luxury villa that perfectly captures the owner's taste, personality, and lifestyle. Achieving a harmonious balance between luxurious aesthetics, sustainable design principles, and innovative technology. The goal was to provide an exceptional living experience by incorporating high-quality materials, customizable options, and smart home features while minimizing the villa's environmental impact through energy-efficient systems and sustainable materials.

FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
DG: This award-winning Villa is under construction right now, and will open next year. Showcasing it as a benchmark for luxury and sustainable living. The aim is to promote the design's innovative features, bespoke customization options, and its seamless integration of smart home technology and sustainable practices.

FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
DG: The design stage took under 2 months and it was approved from the first round right away, with the client being extremely happy with everything.

FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
DG: This Villa was commissioned by a client, who wants to build his dream home and potentially open it as a residential haven for visitors.

FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
DG: My villa is being built right now, and will be open next year.

FS: What made you design this particular type of work?
DG: The growing demand for luxury properties that prioritize sustainability and innovative technology is recognized and established with this design. Blending these elements seamlessly, creating a design that not only offers opulence but also reduces environmental impact and enhances energy efficiency. Ultimately creating a design that aligns the owner's vision with the market demand for sustainable luxury residences.

FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
DG: The design was inspired by nature and how to influence designs using naturistic processes.

FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
DG: The target customer for the design of Villa Estelle is affluent individuals or families seeking a luxurious and personalized living experience. This includes clients who value exclusivity, sophistication, and a high level of customization in their residential spaces. The design caters to those who appreciate the seamless integration of sustainability and advanced technology, as well as the meticulous attention to detail and high-quality materials.

FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
DG: Villa Estelle sets itself apart from similar or resembling concepts through its bespoke customization, sustainable design integration, seamless technology, attention to detail, and the harmonious blend of luxury and functionality. These unique features contribute to its distinction and create an exceptional living experience.

FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
DG: As a reflection of the elegance and beauty encapsulated in the design. The process of naming the design involved considering various factors, including the essence of the villa, its unique features, and the desired image it conveys. "Estelle" is derived from the Latin name "Stella," which means "star" or "celestial." The name was selected to evoke a sense of sophistication, luxury, and a timeless quality associated with celestial beauty. It conveys the idea that the villa is a shining gem, an exceptional residence that stands out in terms of its design, amenities, and attention to detail. Furthermore, the name "Estelle" aligns with the desire to create an effortlessly luxurious living experience. It evokes a sense of refinement and elegance, emphasizing the exclusivity and prestige associated with the villa. Overall, the name "Villa Estelle" was chosen to encapsulate the vision of a stunning, luxurious residence that offers an exceptional living experience and captivates with its beauty, just like a star shining in the night sky.

FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
DG: Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software a 3D modeling tool to create the mode. Parametric Modeling Software to generate and optimize the geometry of the structure. Visualization Software to create realistic 3D renderings and visualizations of the villa. Energy Analysis Tools assess the energy performance and efficiency of the villa design.

FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
DG: One of its unique aspects lies in its seamless combination of luxury, sustainability, and personalization. The integration of sustainable design principles, such as solar panels, green roofs, and rainwater harvesting systems, sets it apart from conventional luxury villas. The utilization of smart home technology allows for effortless control and customization of various aspects of the villa, further enhancing the residents' experience. The high-quality materials, including marble, hardwood, and natural stone, ensure durability and a sense of opulence. The ability to customize layouts and furnishings offers a unique level of personalization, allowing residents to truly make the space their own.

FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
DG: The design was fully developed and executed by me solely. Moving to the schematic and detailed stages, technical team was included to produce engineering documents for building and construction stage of my exact design with my supervision.

FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
DG: Technology plays a significant role in the design of Villa Estelle, enhancing both the functionality and the luxury experience of the residence. The integration of smart home technology allows for seamless control and automation of various systems within the villa. This includes lighting, temperature, security, and entertainment systems. Residents can conveniently adjust settings and access these features remotely, providing ease and comfort. Additionally, sustainable technology is incorporated to minimize the villa's environmental impact and improve energy efficiency. The design utilizes solar panels to harness clean and renewable energy, reducing reliance on traditional energy sources. Rainwater harvesting systems are implemented to collect and reuse water, promoting water conservation. Moreover, advanced computational design techniques are employed to optimize the geometry of the structure, ensuring its structural integrity and efficiency. Parametric modeling aids in generating and refining the design, resulting in a visually striking and structurally sound villa. Overall, technology in Villa Estelle serves as a means to enhance convenience, energy efficiency, and sustainability. It seamlessly integrates with the design, offering residents a sophisticated and luxurious living experience while minimizing the villa's ecological footprint.

FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
DG: A comprehensive research process was conducted to inform design decisions and ensure the incorporation of sustainable practices, innovative technologies, and high-quality materials. The research methods employed included a mix of qualitative and quantitative approaches. The combination of data-driven research, analysis of user preferences, and technical investigations allowed to create a design that merges luxury, sustainability, and functionality seamlessly in Villa Estelle.

FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
DG: The design process was actually very enjoyable and smooth, I enjoy solving critical problems, innovation new solutions and creating a balance between futuristic designs and environment balance.

FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
DG: The A'design Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the world for Architecture and Design, submitting to it and winning comes after a long hard work and dedication to design Excellency.

FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
DG: Enhanced striking a balance between meeting the client's preferences and integrating sustainable and innovative design features in a luxurious stunning design.
