Interview with SUN JIAN at Sunday 5th of June 2022

FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
JS: Less is more minimalism meets Chinese purism. The striking combination of Chinese characters and the lotus flower design acts as a connecting element, giving the collection a special expressiveness. Another feature is the raised thread that runs through the cup body. Together, these two design attributes give white a new, surprisingly powerful aesthetic. JS: It took three months to design such a plan.

JS: There are many ceramic artists in China. Their works can have a great impact.
