FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
ML: Created materials for a hypothetical or an existing conference. Designed a visual concept that demonstrates a conceptual and typographical system.
FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
ML: Shifts in design, society, culture are constant and designers are forced to make tough decisions. Does a graphic designer take on type design? Should a visual artist delve into UX? Do type foundries dedicate more attention to web fonts? To be competitive, designers need to be competent in web, print, mobile, type design, and UX. Using illustration, color, typography, layout, and a variety of circular design elements to convey the idea of Focus.
