The flies trap lid is designed to catch flies. Compare with normal coffee cup lid, it not only has the traditional function but also can give a second life to disposable coffee cups. When people finish drinking, just press the trap bottom before throwing, the flies will be easily attracted by the residual coffee smell. Since this lid has a special conical structure hole, once the flies get in, it is hard to escape.

Li Zhu comes from China, he is a Ph.D. student of Université Paul Sabatier in France. His major is electronic and information, but he likes the design and has a desire of doing something good for the world. Flies trap lid is his first design; the main purpose of this design is catching the fly and preventing the spread of vector-borne diseases. He also wants to call people's attention of these diseases.
