About Yifan Gao : Yifan Gao received her bachelor's degree in Fashion Jewellery from London College of Fashion, University of Art London, followed by her master degree’s in study Ceramics&Glass at the Royal College of Art. She gained wide recognition from the British and worldwide fashion industries from the early days of her student years, with multiple standalone and collaboration projects exploring her designer identity and techniques. Her Jewellery takes a unique interest in constantly exploring art jewellery design with a futuristic approach. The designer is devoted to combining this vision with timeless statement design, precious materials and remarkable craftsmanship. Each of her collections up to date has been aiming to materialise her imagination as wearable jewellery pieces rooted in youth cultures and reflecting her refreshing approach towards diversity. Her works have been featured in an array of prestigious fashion publishers including Vogue Italia, Vogue Hong Kong, Bazaar Art China, Nylon Japan and more. Her pieces of jewellery have also been worn by various artists and celebrities, including by the young rising pop star Rina Sawayama and appeared in Solange’s music video ‘Almeda.’
