DESIGN NAME: Ipek University Presidency
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office Building
INSPIRATION: Gallery space is therefore a circular staircase that ends in a wooden parapet on the ground floor and provide continuity from both the formal aspects are highlighted. This dynamic wooden structure has emerged as a knowledge spiral with a conceptual approach. This is felt throughout the predominantly with spiral wooden structure in the building.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Office facades that have been highlighted dynamicaly in a narrowing and expanding gallery.The front office was detached from the main body with a second layer of wall and light. Glass front office are highlighted with circular and rectangular line frames. Gallery space is therefore a circular staircase that ends in a wooden parapet on the ground floor and provide continuity. This dynamic wooden structure has emerged as a knowledge spiral with a conceptual approach.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This project operated for new spatial experience for office building Key frames are Contemporary and unique.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in 2014 and finished 2015 in Ankara, Turkey.

SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 8500 m2 with 5 floors for using University Presidency offices.

I am absolutely in awe of the incredible design of "Ipek University Presidency"! The dynamic wooden structure that creates a knowledge spiral with a conceptual approach is truly inspiring. The use of circular and rectangular line frames to highlight the glass front office is truly remarkable. I am impressed by how Craft312 studio managed to create a 4th dimensional space with their exploration of new production techniques. I am in awe of the ingenuity of Craft312 studio's design for the Ipek University Presidency! The use of a circular staircase that ends in a wooden parapet to provide continuity and an overall feeling of dynamism is truly something special. The knowledge spiral created with the predominantly wooden structure is something that truly stands out and is incredibly effective in creating a conceptual approach to the building.
