| DESIGN NAME: CRATER PRIMARY FUNCTION: Wall Tiles INSPIRATION: I inspired crater of over the mountain. My philosophy for this idea is considered the first definitive proof of an extraterrestrial impact on the Earth's surface. Since then, numerous impact craters have been identified around the world, though Meteor Crater remains one of the most visually impressive owing to its size, young age and lack of vegetative cover.Crater is the very organic surface for the Wall tiles. You can aplicate horizontal or vertical shape. You can change Color Glaze for your interior design... UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 3D effects for the walls. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design team has studied the future production steps and assembly components together with the relevant departments throughout the design stage. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Ceramic Wall Tiles: Porcelain Body and Glazing. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Big Main Body: 600mm x 300mm Seperate oval body: 300mm x 150mm Note: 6 pieces is 1 sqm and 23 kg. TAGS: Wall tiles, Bien, Ceramic, Design, Crater RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As a concept all the the objects of the set are free standing and have peculiar shapes.Therefore an intensive research has been conducted to develop production methods,assembly parts and auxiliary parts. CHALLENGE: Wall Tiles: The shape of the object is so that the surface area is very organic and there is connection to the oval ceramic pieces. In order to achieve this goal a special assembly part has been developed to connect the oval pieces to the wall.
