PRIMARY FUNCTION: Kiosk
INSPIRATION: Product promotion through kiosks has generally been able to convey only one-way information through the screen.
If you hire public relations personnel for more direct communication and promotion, promotion costs are high and you cannot promote the product 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Additionally, the timing at which consumers need product information varies, making it difficult to meet the timing.
I thought we needed a way to deliver accurate information to consumers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, without making mistakes.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This product acts as a display stand, and as soon as the consumer picks up the product, the sensor recognizes the product the consumer has selected and automatically delivers various contents about it to the consumer.
Therefore, you have the advantage of being able to continue promoting your product 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without consuming manpower. In addition, by visually conveying all product information to consumers, it is easy to promote purchases and deliver accurate information.
Payment via QR code is also possible.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This product consists of several shelf module units with motion recognition sensors attached, and a main LCD unit that receives and outputs information from each sensor shelf module unit.
A specific product is displayed on a shelf equipped with a sensor, and the moment a consumer's hand approaches the displayed product, the sensor activates and displays the information the seller wants to know about the product on the main LCD.
Consumers can Know detailed information about the product they want and purchase the product unattended.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project began in Seoul in August 2023 and was completed in November 2023. The product will be mass-produced after mid-2024 and will be displayed and used in various commercial spaces such as hotels and large coffee shops.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In Korea, labor costs are rising every day. Accordingly, many systems are emerging as unmanned systems. The same goes for publicity.
While looking for a way to simply promote products without hiring people, the idea of using a kiosk equipped with sensor technology to promote and sell products occurred to me. When a product is displayed in a kiosk and a customer approaches the product, the sensor reacts and displays product information on the LCD to promote the product. There is no manpower consumption and product promotion is possible 24 hours a day. Additionally, this product is manufactured in a modular manner, which has the advantage of allowing installers to purchase and operate only as much as needed.
CHALLENGE: When you try to pick up a product, the sensor must recognize it and display something on the display. After much effort, we have completed sensor technology that accurately recognizes the user's hand movements.
In design, the kiosk must harmonize with the tone and manner of various spaces. Therefore, it was designed to match the size and color of the product and the tone and manner of the store so as not to spoil the interior. In addition, for economic efficiency, we designed it in a modular form to help primary consumers who install this product make more rational decisions.
