| DESIGN NAME: Maxi Hall PRIMARY FUNCTION: Modern Villa Hallway INSPIRATION: When we started the project we wanted to achieve the modern maximalism in Interior design for this space, by decorating in to the max blooming the design with layers of textures and materials colors using a water jet flooring pattern. A geometrical water jet designed marble flooring, we filled the interior with color, pattern and life. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Modern maximalism designed space blending the layers of materials together to achieve the look yet giving the function of the space merging and blending wood, mirrors and marbles, gold together to fill the interior with cheerful look and life, giving the space to identify by using the geometrical lives in the flooring and wood wall cladding. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: There has been overlap between achieving the maximalism look in modern way by adding and blending different materials and layers to achieve the design and colors. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2020 in Qatar and finished in October 2023. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The work started in the design with a lot of sketches and drawings with (AutoCAD) then the transition to the stage of choosing the colors, materials used, lighting and furniture to make mood boards by (Adobe Photoshop) to be designed as required, then we started to 3D modelling using Autodesk 3D max) SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Space Measurements: Width 7m, Depth 19m, Height 12m Walls: mix between wooden veneer finished cladding and back painted glass mirrors with geometrical patterns and gold stripes adding decorative paint on walls to reflect the lightning effects on walls. The flooring is geometrical designed pattern using Nero Marqina, Pietra Grey and Calcatta marble. TAGS: Modern, Entrance, Interior Design, Palace Design, Luxury Design, Modern, Contemporary, maximalism interior RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research generally includes the idea of "Maximalism design" which aims to recreate Interior Design modern once again, but in a different way in terms of the materials used and the shape in general. And help designers to use the bold materials and help the community to accept the modern maximalism style.
