FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
JG: The exterior design of the project Portofino 35 Fly was inspired by the straight lines of the Lamborghini Aventador. The interior was inspired by modern residential lines.
FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
JG: We want to achieve excellence in the design of yachts, launching a project where more spacious and attractive.
FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
JG: This is our first release, with this award the customer have more confidence in acquire a Yacht in Portofino.
FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
JG: 16 months to design and build the first boat.
FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
JG: It was designed for my own company and will be produced in series.
FS: What made you design this particular type of work?
JG: Through market research we found an untapped market for this size of vessel.
FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
JG: Customers between 35 and 50 years who want comfort and luxury.
FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
JG: The Luxury, space and comfort it offers.
FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
JG: Came during a trip to Italy where we known the town of Portofino.
FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
JG: Max surf, Autocad, Rhinoceros.
FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
JG: The agressive, modern lines and nice layout.
FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
JG: To make a good design should do enough research and much, much work ..
